We have some new additions to the family…HERMIT CRABS! Yikes, Jason isn’t so sure about this but the kids really wanted their own hermit crabs as pets. Maya’s teacher at school had them in her class and the children all really enjoyed having them around. We spend some time reading and learning all sorts of fun facts about them ahead of time. Then, we head off to the store to pick them out. One of the nice things about hermit crabs are how easy they are to care for. They are pretty independent and low maintenance. But, there’s one family member who isn’t so sure about our new friends.
